What type of events do you service?

Anything and everything! We love celebrations! Weddings, Baby & Bridal Showers, Mehndi Parties, Corporate Events, Customer Appreciations, Birthdays, Anniversaries…the list is endless.

What type of alcohol do you serve?

Poppy’s tap system can serve wine, beer, and bubbly.  We have curated a list of about 2 dozen wines to choose from — Prosecco, Rosé, Cabernet, Pinot. We also serve beer from any brewery of your choice as well as some lovely Sangrias. If you prefer, we can also pour from wine bottles and beer bottles/cans. Poppy is equipped with refrigeration and comes with ample coolers and ice. We also love a good cocktail or mocktail! Some of our favourites include French 75s, Smoked Old Fashioned and every type of Margarita under the sun!

Rosie, our Frosé Cart specializes in frozen artisanal cocktails and mocktails. She has two “hoppers” to make frozen beverages - delicious Frosés, Bellinis, Aperol Spritz’, mocktails, her ever popular Margaritas, and frozen coffees are a few of her specialities.

Is Alcohol included in your services?

No, our packages do not include alcohol or the liquor license to serve alcohol (these are AGLC rules). We will walk you through the simple process of obtaining a liquor license. Once we learn a little more about you and your guests, we will also help you order the right amount of alcohol and recommend where to purchase it.

How much room do you need for your bars?

Poppy is a 16 foot long by 7 foot wide camper. She is also a low-rider so needs a relatively flat surface and an access point that isn’t full of potholes or large rocks.

Rosie has been designed to fit into downtown elevators and through residential doors. She is 54 inches long and 25 inches wide.

Do we need access to electricity?

Our bars require electricity and should have a dedicated outlet just for them. Both Poppy and Rosie can be plugged into a regular 15 amp household plug. If power isn’t available, we will bring our own generator. It’s complimentary AND it’s quiet!

Are you insured?

We are fully insured with General Liability Insurance and Liquor Liability Insurance. All of our bartenders are ProServe certified.

What is your inclement weather policy?

We live in Alberta. We know bad weather can happen. If our bars cannot be relocated under shelter and the weather is absolutely horrific, we will work with you to reschedule your event. If that doesn’t work, we will refund 70% of the booking back to you.
